Let me introduce myself: my name is Mia,

I was born in August 2020 and I’m a medium‑sized dog. I’m a very sweet and calm girl with low energy.

I’ve spent almost my entire adult life waiting for a family. When I was about one year old, I was abandoned and shortly after hit by a car, which caused a severe leg fracture. Even though I still limp slightly after two surgeries, it doesn’t stop me from living a carefree life and loving people. I am spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, used to living indoors and I walk very well on the leash. I get along with children, cats and other dogs. I am currently finishing my treatment for heartworm. I’ve already completed eight months of therapy and should soon test negative. I have been living in the shelter for over five years, waiting for someone to finally notice me. My limp does not define me. I am a small dog full of love, wishing for a soft bed, a few walks and a family of my own.

I am currently in Italy, but I can travel anywhere in Europe and the United Kingdom within two to three weeks for a good adoption. 🩷
