Let me introduce myself: my name is Pan,

I am a small mixed-breed dog who was probably born in April 2020. I weigh just 7.5 kg and am a small-sized dog.

Sadly, my life began in the cruelest way. I was found in a terrible condition, weighing only 4 kg, little more than skin and bones, and in desperate need of care and love. Initial tests revealed that I was positive for Leishmaniasis. I had to undergo treatment, numerous medicated baths, and a long recovery process that included lots of affection and nutritious meals prepared daily with fresh meat to help me regain my strength.

Today, I am doing much better and have tested negative! A few small scars remain on my muzzle where the fur has not fully grown back, but they are a reminder of everything I have been through.

I am sweet and affectionate with people I know, but I can be fearful of strangers and may bark at them. Sadly, I experienced violence in my past. I was beaten with sticks, hands, and kicks. Because of this, I try to protect myself when I meet someone new. However, behind my fears is a little dog who simply wants to feel safe and learn to trust again.

Now I dream of finding a patient and loving family who will respect my pace and help me forget the suffering of my past. I long to finally experience the comfort of a home and the affection of someone I no longer have to be afraid of.
