Hello everyone! Let me introduce myself: my name is Camilla.

I am a surrendered dog from Calabria, in Southern Italy.
For far too long, I lived trapped in a dark corridor, surrounded by four cold walls, in my own filth.
Every day, I dreamed of a different life: running freely through fields, feeling a gentle hand on my fur, looking into a kind face.
Then, a small miracle happened: two big-hearted women couldn’t turn away.
Even though they already had many dogs to care for, they decided to save me.
Thanks to them, I am slowly learning what it truly means to live.
My gaze has changed. There is now a new light in my eyes. Now, I believe that a happy ending might be possible for me too.

I am desperately looking for a true family, or even a temporary foster home where I can continue to bloom day by day.

As you can see, I’m a truly wonderful young lady!
Despite everything I’ve been through, I’ve remained sweet, gentle and friendly with people, other dogs… and even cats!
