Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself: my name is Dako.

I spent my childhood on the streets.
I wasn’t alone… my little sister was with me.
We were scared, hiding in the bushes, on the roadside…
We didn’t trust anyone.
All we knew was fear.

One day, a volunteer saw us — or rather, she saw her first…
Her tiny body was lying on the asphalt.
She had been hit by a car. She wasn’t moving anymore.

Next to her, there was me. Frozen, still and absolutely terrified.
She approached slowly. She spoke to me gently and little by little, she made me believe that not all of the world is cruel.

She took me with her, far away from that pain and gave me a second chance.
Now I’m safe and I truly hope my story reaches someone who, just like me, only needs to be seen… and loved.

As you can see, I’m a wonderful young dog. Moreover, I’m very sweet, obedient, super cuddly and sociable with people and other dogs.
