Hi, my name’s Mike. I grew up in a rural Michigan in the United States and as far back as I can remember there was always a dog in the house. Living in Chicago I owned an amazing Columbian street rescue named Rummy so rescue dogs hold a special place for me.
I moved to the UK from Chicago in 2018 to work as a Web Developer here in London. Recently I decided to adopt a dog with my girlfriend Kate and discovered Furry Rescue Italy. While going through the adoption process I learned more about the organization and started helping out with their English language website.
