Thank you to Hayley for sharing her story with us.
“We adopted Giavanna née Viola from the Happy Bus this February. As you can see she has settled in amazingly!
We already had 2 cats and were a little concerned that she wouldn’t get on with them, however, bar the odd playful chase, she has been brilliant. It feels like she has been here forever.
Furry Italy have been excellent with the communication throughout, kudos to Chiara and Christine who kept us updated all the way.
Già finds cars a little frightening, especially at night but even after the short time she has been with us she is learning that walks can be fun. Considering she was found in the countryside and may never have had an actual home she is surprisingly easy to train.
We have had a couple of accidents in the house but not nearly as many as we anticipated and my daughter has already taught her ‘sit’. The sofa and bed is her absolute favourite place!
Don’t let the fact many of these dogs have come from abroad put you off, the team ensure they fit and well prior to travel. It’s still advisable to get them vet checked when they come over (as with any new addition).
At first, the fee may seem high, however, when you consider the amount of money spent on rehabilitation, food, housing, vet bills and travel, I imagine it’s just a drop in the ocean.
Thank you to all at Furry Rescue Italy for bringing a new light in our life after our previous, much loved furball was put to sleep last year.”
